Superman Takes Flight And Zod Takes Metamucil In New ‘Man Of Steel’ Pictures

I regret nothing.

Warner released several new Man of Steel pictures, about half of them coming from the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly. It’s one of our best looks at Man of Steel, which opens June 14th (trailer here). There are the obligatory pictures of Superman (Henry Cavill) looking intense and flying. We also get the first official look at Antje Traue as Faora Hu-Ul (although we have seen her in some set pictures). We also have a look at Michael Shannon as General Zod, which we may have taken some liberties with.

Rounding out the cast photos are Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as her editor Perry White, and Superman’s adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent (Diane Lane and Kevin Costner). And finally, there’s Russell Crowe as serious cat — er, wait, no. He’s playing Superman’s dad, Jor-El, who looks like he both smelt it and dealt it.

“Put the food directly in this feed bag and walk away, mate.”

Continue on for the rest.
