‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Gets The Bad Lip Reading Treatment From Mark Hamill

Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens was released on December 18, 2015. That’s less than two years ago, yet it feels like the movie has been a part of our lives for decades. Maybe that’s because it’s essentially an effective re-telling of the original Star Wars, or because Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stole some of its thunder, or maybe it’s because I have no attention span anymore, but… what was I talking about? Oh yeah, The Force Awakens. It came out so recently, relatively speaking, that Bad Lip Reading hadn’t even gotten around to it until now. They hired quite the ringer to help them out, too.

In this very special installment of Bad Lip Reading, Han (voiced by Mark Hamill) struggles with a language barrier.

Luke Skywalker has been Han Solo all along? Now there’s a twist. Anyway, there are some funny lines in Bad Lip Reading‘s Force Awakens parody — Kylo Ren channeling Buffalo Bill to Rey is inspired — but it’s still not as funny as some of the actual lines of dialogue from the Star Wars prequels. There’s no need to mock Attack of the Clones when “I don’t like sand” already exists.
