Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album “To Pimp A Butterfly” sold 363,000 equivalent album units (324,000 albums) in the first week of sales. This is despite an earlier than expected release date. In 2012 “good kid, m.A.A.d city” debuted with 241,000 records sold. This show the growth in Kendrick Lamar’s brand and fan base.
