On the last episode of MMG vs. OVO, Rick Ross was on N.O.R.E’s Drink Champs podcast and opposing the silly idea of meeting with Drake and squashing the MMG/OVO beef that started when Wikimeeks tweeted Drake uses ghostwriters. Well, what a difference two weeks makes!
According to N.O.R.E, Rick Ross actually did end up having a secret, sit-down meeting with Drizzy recently about killing their year-long rapper’s quarrel. “I heard Drake and Ross met in Prime 112 to squash the beef between Meek Mill and Drake,” N.O.R.E claimed on Drink Champs “I heard that and listen, if that rumor is correct, that’s what we need to happen.”
The rapper/podcaster admitted he probably wasn’t suppose to spill the beans, but didn’t care anyway because a truce is what’s needed in hip-hop, continuing, “I don’t even think I was suppose to blow up but it’s okay. I heard Ross, Drake met with each other.”
So much for being a savage. When the Maybach Music Group captain was on Drink Champs late July, he made it crystal clear that he wasn’t looking to make amends with Drake, actually preferring to “letting it go out of control and seeing what happens.” But we all know Ross has issues with telling the truth. Plans for a meet-up were probably already set in motion when he sat up there and played up to his character.
