You Won’t Believe How Far Ahead Marvel Studios’ Movie Schedule Is Planned Out

Marvel

One of the things that really sets Marvel apart from other superhero movie producing studios is their ability to plan ahead. Every Marvel movie not only tells it’s own story, but builds to something else (meanwhile Warner Bros. can barely get through a single DC superhero movie without losing the plot).

So yeah, Marvel is good at planning, but honestly they may be going overboard. According to Kevin Feige they now have movies planned out all the way to 2028. Bloomberg recently got a look at the plan, which apparently covers an entire wall in Kevin Feige’s office. Here’s what Feige said about the plan…

“It’s like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, ‘What’s happening back there? I can sort of see it’. They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028.”

Guys, planning is good, but there’s also something to be said for spontaneity. I mean, Lee, Kirby and Ditko were pretty much just flying by the seat of their pants when they created the Marvel Universe. That said, as long as this 14-year plan involves a Devil Dinosaur movie, I’m totally on board.
