Batman sometimes kills his enemies, but the amount of murderous rage he espouses varies based on who’s doing the writing. The Christopher Nolan version, for example, used ingenious methods to avoid killing people, but he also wouldn’t — as Ra’s al Ghul learned — go out of his way to save someone if he didn’t feel like it. The Zack Snyder version of Batman, on the other hand, will roll a car right over your damn face for jaywalking. And here we thought bats weren’t coldblooded.
To tally up all of this Batfleck’s murder spree, Mr. Sunday Movies is back with another superhero kill count supercut. We already saw him tally up everyone killed by Iron Man and Captain America, and you may also recognize his distinctive voice as the guy who’s done deep dives into the trailers for Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Captain America: Civil War.
To sum up, the total number of on-screen murders committed by the Batfleck is 21, not including people he killed during the dream sequence (or time boom).
If only every one of them had mothers named Martha, this could have all been avoided.
