In Chicago today, a wall at the Morton Salt factory collapsed, spilling salt everywhere. Salt poured out of the building onto the cars at a neighboring Acura dealership. Witnesses say the amount was potentially a ton or more, or the amount found in your average dinner at Chili’s.

No one was harmed in this incident, the year’s second saltiest moment (Justin Bieber on the skateboard still edges this out).
Fun fact: this happened in the Goose Island neighborhood, which makes me think what a happy story this would be if it was Goose Island instead of Morton. Beer everywhere! Beer for everyone! Drink your beer out of a beer-filled Acura!
In a better world, I suppose.
