Given the popularity of the books on which HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on, it’s no surprise that a lot of people have strong opinions on what would make the show better. Everyone who has given the series a read-through seems to think they could do a better job than David Benioff and Dan Weiss at bringing Westeros to life by making this change or that.
Most of them are wrong. But once in a while someone comes up with an idea so inspired, we wish it could become canon after all. And with that in mind, let us present to you this remix that mashes up of Game of Thrones and the 2001 Martin Lawrence comedy Black Knight.
Who knows, perhaps this could be the next project to earn a George Lucas style special edition? We could have Martin Lawrence sprinkled through all the major plotlines, not just as a knight, but a knight of the Kingsguard! Besides, Game of Thrones: The Enhanced Martin Cut could re-open the debate from fans who complained about the very real problem of overwhelmingly casting the dark-skinned characters as slaves and prostitutes.
Based on what PizzaPartyFX has done in this trailer, it’s safe to say we have the technology. When is someone going to go ahead and fix HBO’s mistakes?
