Tom Holland Moved From Spoiling The ‘Avengers’ To Spoiling ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ For Chris Pratt

The men and women who run Hollywood today likely wish they could make Tom Holland away or trap him in the belly of that whale — or at least hope he was truly caught in a tsunami. These ridiculous statements stem from Holland’s tendency to spoil films before they’ve hit the general public. The folks at Marvel know it very well at this point, placing him far away from fellow spoiler Mark Ruffalo during the lead up to Avengers: Infinity War, and tasking Benedict Cumberbatch with “babysitting” him during interviews. And now, according to Chris Pratt, Holland is even spoiling movies he doesn’t even appear in.

As Pratt tells Entertainment Weekly during their radio show on Sirius XM, Holland’s working relationship with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom director J. A. Bayona got him an inside look at the script before Pratt even saw it. A recipe for disaster:

“The first I heard about the plot was from Tom Holland, weirdly. I think I was shooting the sequel for Guardians of the Galaxy, maybe, and Tom was doing Spider-Man on the same lot…

“He said, ‘Hey mate, I just talked to J.A., mate, he told me the whole plot of the story,’ and I was like, ‘What?’ He said, ‘Yeah, there’s like a volcano,’ and I said, ‘You’re messing with me.’ He’s like, ‘No, mate, he told me the whole thing.’ So he told me the whole story, so I heard it right from Tom Holland first. And then, when I read the script, I was like, he wasn’t messing with me. It was all real.”

And then Tom Holland kept telling everybody that “it’s about the experience, spoilers don’t matter! People will still watch,” all while they pile wood at his feet and dancing around the fire.

It just seems you can’t trust Holland with any insider news about anything. How many birthdays have been ruined by this guy? It’s criminal.
