The first images of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in character for Wonder Woman have already circulated online, whether through official means or not. Yet no footage from the production has surfaced, nor should it have — it’s way too early for anything to be shown (or leaked) from director Patty Jenkins‘ period piece adaptation of the popular DC Comic superhero. Unless you’re some random Instagram user like Felix Lowe.
Lowe took several photographs and videos from the London set of Wonder Woman on Dec. 21, but ComicBook.com first noticed all the media on Monday. That’s when the website brought attention to Lowe’s account, including two short clips of a scene shot near Lincoln’s Inn in Central London. The exact location depicted by the set remains unclear, but considering the period clothing and props, it’s definitely set during World War I.
This makes a lot of sense, especially with the second video’s brief depiction of Gadot and Pine walking through the square in the bottom right corner. Pine plays Steve Trevor, a United States Air Force pilot who also happens to be Diana Prince’s love interest in the comics.
Other than the glimpse of Prince and Trevor from above, there’s not much else to the shot. It seems that Pine’s character is escorting the robed Amazonian through the marketplace — perhaps in an attempt to conceal her from prying eyes.
We won’t know until Wonder Woman debuts in theaters on June 23, 2017.
