Watch Mumford & Sons Cover ‘Sweet Dreams’ With Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus

On Tuesday night, Mumford & Sons finished up their two-night stay at Inglewood, Calif.’s Forum with some surprise guests. The now-electric rockers covered The Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” with tour openers Jack Garrett and The Vaccines helping out. It’s always special to see the headlining band invite the openers out to perform a song together, but the Mumfords made it even more special by inviting Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus out, as well.

This isn’t the first time the group has performed the cover, first performing it for a Maida Vale Session in July and then pulling it out during a show in Edmonton. The fellas in Mumford & Sons are really trying to get everyone on their new “rock” sound, not only with this cover, but with renditions of The Offspring and The Beatles songs, as well.
