The Grammys tend to get forgotten this time of year, with the Super Bowl one week before the ceremony and the Oscars two weeks after. But this year’s ceremony should be a good one: Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, the Black Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Miguel, and Jack White, among others, are scheduled to perform, with tributes planned for Levon Helm and Dave Brubeck, too. The nominee list ain’t too shabby, either, with Alabama Shakes, Fiona Apple, Arcade Fire, M83, Bruce Springsteen, R. Kelly, Nas, Kanye West, and the Roots showing up in key categories.
So, let’s hang out on Sunday night, beginning at 8 p.m. EST on CBS, and watch the Grammys. We’ll praise our favorite bands, trash Beliebers and whatever Maroon 5 fans call themselves, and get drunk together. Sound fun?
