It’s hard to believe Hulk Hogan’s public image could possible become any more tainted. The guy’s been the subject of a leaked sex tape, during which he went on multiple n-word-packed racist spiels, and then he compared himself to Barack Obama on Twitter in one of the most out-of-touch, inept attempts at image rehabilitation in recent memory. Well, strap yourselves in, brothers, because rock-bottom just got even lower.
Yes, the other intolerance shoe has dropped, as Radar Online has discovered Hogan making homophobic statements on one of his sex tapes. In one of the tapes, Hogan shares more offensive pillow-talk with his partner in porn, Heather Clem. Specifically, he discusses the upcoming season of his reality show Hogan Knows Best…
“VH1 wanted me to do a big thing and go back to the house I grew up in. So, we knock on the door, and a big f*g lives there now! This half-gay was enamored with Linda.”
In the same conversation, Hulk also reveals a scheme to sell his house to SoBe Entertainment mogul Cecile Barker to keep it out of his wife Linda’s hands in the divorce. This is of course the same guy Hogan was hurling racial epithets at in the initial conversation that got him in trouble. Add staggering hypocrisy to the list of things Hogan is guilty of.
A part of me just wants this slow-motion trainwreck to be over, but another part hopes this Russian nesting doll of horribleness just keeps going, because we’re officially into absurd territory here. Was Hulk also smoking crack and throwing adorable puppies in an incinerator while filming his racist, homophobic porno? Is there a run-in by Jerry Sags? At this point, nothing would surprise me.
