Hey, remember the time Conor McGregor “retired” and everyone thought he was gonna make the jump to WWE? Yeah, we’re gonna go ahead and guess that won’t be happening for a while. During a conference call promoting his upcoming fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, the current Featherweight Champion was asked about the chances of him ever helping to cross-promote UFC and WWE. His response was…well, it sure was something:
I haven’t really thought about it. For the most part, those WWE guys are p***ies. They’re messed up p***ies if you ask me.
Though he would go on to praise Vince McMahon, calling his performers sad, gendered insults is probably not the best way for McGregor to endear himself to a potential future employer. He did acknowledge the hulking Jimmy Johns-fueled monster in the room, bringing up Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 victory over Mark Hunt, but again…
I mean fair play to Brock, he got in and fought…but at the end of the day he’s juiced up to the eyeballs. How can I respect that
Lesnar may have PEDs oozing from his pores, but if we learned anything from his rivalry against Diaz, McGregor does much better when he stays in his own lane.
