Since their face-to-face (and throat-to-throat) confrontation during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, the world has been asking, “When are Shaquille O’Neal and The Big Show going one-on-one?” You know it’s happening. They know it’s happening. They’ve said they’re ready for it to happen. We asked Show about it ourselves, and he told us to wait and see. And that he was the “biggest white guy in spandex walking,” so he’s not hard to find.
John Cena’s already hosting the ESPY Awards and comparing Vince McMahon to Roger Goodell, but it looks like the show just got a lot more WWE heavy. Pun intended. During the red carpet, Show and Shaq came face to face yet again, and this time they didn’t go throat-to-throat … they went palm-to-palm and appeared to formally agree to a match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. WWE tweeted out the clip, and Show’s, “you serious?” really brings it home. That’s a handshake agreement, folks, and now Shaquille O’Neal looks to be having a one-on-one WrestleMania match in the city where his NBA career began.
Now to see if The Big Show gets Charles Barkley in his corner like he said he wants to.
