Not only did Rob Gronkowski score the cover of Madden 17 last week, he also landed on the cover of the latest issue of GQ. As part of that cover story, the folks at GQ put the Patriots tight end through a ‘Bro Combine’ of sorts, testing his knowledge and abilities throughout several corners of bro culture.
As to be expected, Gronk had all of his bases covered. A true bro’s bro, he aced all of his challenges — from slang, to booze improvisation, to dancing, to shirt ripping. So much shirt ripping.
This is either a spectacular waste of perfectly good t-shirts or an excellent audition to becoming the next Incredible Hulk, depending on how you want to look at it.
But expecting Gronk to finish with anything less than an A+ on his Bro Combine would be a very poor judgement call. If there’s one thing Gronk knows outside of catching footballs and being a defensive coordinator’s worst nightmare, it’s how to party and be the world’s most shameless meathead bro. It’s who he is, and most of the sports world loves him for it.
Somehow, Offseason Gronk continues to be just as unstoppable as In-Season Gronk.
