REAL TALK here. CNN chief Jim Walton will resign from his position at the end of the year because — again, this is REAL TALK — no one watches CNN anymore. Or in the words of his official press release:
CNN needs new thinking. That starts with a new leader who brings a different perspective, different experiences and a new plan, one who will build on our great foundation and will commit to seeing it through. And I’m ready for a change. I have interests to explore and I want to give myself time to do it. (Via)
And there’s only one man for the job…
He’s a drunk, wears a bow-tie, fights with Jane Fonda, and…actually, that’s it. He’s a bow-tie wearing, Jane Fonda-fighting drunk who, even when surrounded by oppressive mediocrity, still shines. Either him, or this dog that I found when I Google’d “dog journalist.”
I like his style.
