After months of buildup, Pearl Jam will finally release their (already streaming) 11th studio album, Lightning Bolt, on Tuesday. To celebrate the occasion, from October 21-25, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will host Pearl Jam Week, where everyone has to talk with a growl and condemn Ticketmaster as much as possible. Here’s the schedule:
Monday, October 21: Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and the Avett Brothers will perform “Footsteps”
Tuesday, October 22: Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold sings “Corduroy” with “special guests”
Wednesday, October 23: Dierks Bentley, the Roots, and Mike McCready for a “one-of-a-kind performance”
Thursday, October 24/Friday, October 25: PEARL JAM.
Every day: pray for the Scott Stapp vs. Eddie Vedder all-out-brawl we’ve been waiting for.
