Amanda Peet usually makes for a delightful interview subject, but, in recent years, people have been quick to bring up her husband David, who happens to be an executive producer on Game of Thrones. With someone that close that high up, you’d think there would be some special insights and influence to be had, but, as Peet told Jimmy Kimmel, she was just as shocked as the rest of us when the Night’s Watch decided to stab Jon Snow in the back. More so in fact, as her husband provided a picture of Kit Harington with his hair still uncut two weeks before the season finale aired. Because Snow was the one character death she didn’t want to happen, Peet is “currently in the process of divorcing her husband.” I assume she’s joking because of context, but there are probably some Game of Thrones fans willing to make that step, despite all the skepticism surrounding Jon Snow’s fate.
Not one to end on a sour note, Peet also provided her own impression of Jon Snow while reading the instructions on a Freebra package. She’s modest, but I’d put her impression up there with all those other guys who were on with Kimmel a few months back.
