Bran Stark ruins everything.
First, he figuratively killed the mood during a perfectly romantic moment between Jaime and Cersei Lannister in the Game of Thrones pilot. Then years later, he literally helped kill Hold-The-Door after the Night King came in physical contact with Bran during a vision. And now the actor who plays the youngest still-alive Stark boy, Isaac Hempstead Wright, has come up with the worst theory regarding the identity of Jon Snow’s parents.
The interview starts out innocently enough, with the Hollywood Reporter asking Wright if he thinks Bran knows what he’s seeing in the Tower of Joy, where Ned Stark encounters his sister Lyanna on her deathbed. “I think he can probably work it out,” he said. “You can see that crushed look on Ned’s face… When Bran sees his father’s reaction and understands that this is a surrogate child his father has brought up, he thinks to himself, ‘Well, wait, what surrogate children has my father brought up? Oh! Jon Snow! So Jon Snow isn’t my half-brother.’ But we still are pretty clueless as to the father, I think.”
Are we, though? It seems pretty obvious. To everyone except Wright, that is, who added, “At this stage, it could even be Ned. There could be a Cersei and Jaime thing going on there.” Nope! R + L = Just stop talking, Bran.
Go back to mediating in a tree, or whatever.
Nice one, Bran. 😞
