In the record-breaking Game of Thrones season six finale, Cersei fulfilled Maggy the Frog’s prophecy by blowing up King’s Landing with wild fire and, in the process, caused King Tommen to kill himself. On the bright side, at least she captured Septa Unella — “SHAME” — and had The Mountain torture her. We don’t actually see the suffering, which is probably for the best considering how dark it was supposed to be. “It’s so filthy. It’s so great. Everybody’s witnessed what happened with the two of them,” Lena Headey (Cersei) said about the original scene. “It’s so depraved, it’s brilliant. The scene was meant to be worse, but they couldn’t do it. This is like the tame version. It’s pretty bad still, though. I’d take being exploded in the Sept over that any day.”
That’s the worst game of “Would You Rather” I’ve ever heard.
Anyway, Game of Thrones never gives us a clear shot of The Mountain’s deformed face; he’s always hiding under his helmet, like a scared little… I was going to call him a baby until I remember what happened the last time someone tried to intimidate him. But earlier today on Twitter, vodka baron Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson shared an up-close photo of his mug. It’s not pretty.

The Mountain and Jorah should share makeup tips.
