A Tormund Giantsbane without his beard is as weird to see as an Arya without her Needle or a Jon Snow without his mopey face. But in between filming Game of Thrones seasons, Giantsbane is just good ol’ Kristofer Hivju, and that beard can be a pain to deal with. So, with some help from an intimidating woman named Svetlana (all women named Svetlana must be terrifying), he decided to shave it off. Sort of.
