David Blaine’s “Real or Magic” aired Tuesday on ABC and did not disappoint those who love magic or celebrities. We already noted how Blaine blew away “Breaking Bad” stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, but one of the best reactions came from noted skeptic Ricky Gervais.
Sure Blaine normally sounds like he could put a room full of coke heads to sleep, but he can garner intrigue if you give him a needle and an arm to poke it through. Gervais’ reaction to the entire thing really sells the trick and provides the audience a vessel to scream their thoughts out loud.
