With some of America’s top high school talent convening in Fort Myers, Fla., this week for the City of Palms Classic, naturally the tourney’s dunk contest was off the chain.

Deuce Bello (Westchester, N.C.), the 19th-best dunker in the world, was considered the favorite going in. But he faced stiff competition from Ike Nwamu (Westchester, N.C.), Shaquille Johnson (Milton, Ga.), Demetris Morant (Bishop Gorman, Nev.) Marcus Gilbert (Academy of the New Church, Pa.) and Marshall Plumlee (Christ School, N.C). In the end, 6-foot-11 Duke signee Plumlee took home the title.
