After Stephen Curry‘s career high 44 point outing last week, I posed the following question: “As a defender/team, how do you even try to stop Curry?” While the question has been on opposing coaches’ minds for the past six months, it appears Coach Jimmy Patsos is the next great basketball architect.
Although No. 25 Davidson destryoed Loyola (MD) by 30, the Greyhounds were able to hold the nation’s leading scorer to ZERO points in 32 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly. Not only did Curry not score, he only took three shots in the entire game.
Without a doubt, Patsos’ e-mail inbox is already full of requests from coaches around the NCAA asking for the game tape. If I had to guess, that tape will be bootlegged more than the next Harry Potter film.

Has Patsos uncovered the secret, or will Curry bounce back next game?
