Arrow started off its new season with a bang last week, with an unexpected finale, Peter Stormare hamming it up, and Ollie and Felicity getting their first (and last) date interrupted with a rocket launcher. A few spoilers under the cut, and what to expect tonight.
The big developments were really these: Ollie lost his company to billionaire industrialist/creepy Felicity stalker Ray Palmer, fan-beloved character Sara Lance got pumped full of arrows and fell off a roof, and Laurel remains just the worst. No, we are never getting tired of that joke.
Oh, also, Diggle agreed to step away from the field and be a loving provider to his new family. Considering in the flashbacks Amanda Waller threatened to put a bullet in a kid just to make Ollie stick around in Hong Kong, we’re guessing that’s not going to last.
As for tonight’s episode, it is consumed with the hunt for Sara’s killer. I’ve got a pretty good guess, but I’ll wait until the liveblog starts tonight to share it. In the meantime, see if you can figure it out from the trailer that more or less makes it 100% obvious!
