The Fantastic Four is subject to a lot of rumors at the moment, few of them positive. So Simon Kinberg has been engaging in some damage control, and telling us when we’ll get our first look at the movie.
Kinberg does clear a few things up, starting with the fact that the “month of reshoots” is actually three or four days with the main cast; in other words, a fairly typical set of reshoots. That’s in fairly sharp contrast to what’s been going around among the usual film rumor suspects. And we’ll be able to see for ourselves what Trank has been up to when the trailer arrives with Kingsman: The Secret Service the day before Valentine’s Day.
Of course, Kinberg kinda has an investment in this movie doing well, since he’s been working on the franchise for a decade off and on. But it’s nice to see Fox finally stepping up and counteracting a few of these rumors. Now to see if the trailer’s any good…
