Has Any Bond Film Ever Not Been ‘The Best Bond Ever’?

Over the weekend, our television screens were inundated with advertisements for the new James Bond adventure, Spectre. They must have had some effect — as evidenced by Spectre’s $73 million domestic weekend gross – but one TV spot in particular claimed that Spectre was the “Best Bond Ever.” Judging by Spectre’s serviceable-at-best 63 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the consensus seems to be that Spectre is not the “Best Bond Ever.”

But, just based on the television spots alone, what is the “Best Bond Ever”? Turns out, a lot of the Bond movies are the “Best Bond Ever.”
