Taylor Swift Breaks Down ‘Shake If Off’ With New Demos And Studio Footage

Videos of Taylor Swift breaking down songs from her album 1989 with GrammyPro have been making their way onto the internet in the last week. The third installment is up now and finds Swift diving deep into the creation of “Shake It Off” with Max Martin and “Clean” with Imogen Heap.

Swift shares demos of the songs and also plays some cell-phone footage of working on 1989 in-studio. Check out the first two installments here and here, then give the final episode a watch here.

Swift also recently gave a candid talk on a subject less close to her heart: Kanye West. Swift told NME that she’s on good terms with the rapper who famously interrupted her at the MTV VMAs.

“Me and Kanye are on such good terms now, six years later,” says Swift. “It took a while… But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he’s saying and he goes, ‘What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.’ I said, ‘It’s Beck, it’s on an album called ‘Morning Phase’, I think you’ve heard of it…’ We just burst out laughing. And he says, ‘Hey, sometimes I’m wrong.’”
