31) Detroit Lions (4-0) – The last time they started the season 4-0, the Lions ended with a 9-7 record and missed the playoffs. But that was like 600 years ago and they didn’t have CALVIN-F*CKING-JOHNSON. Did everyone see Cris Carter back-tracking on Sunday?
“(Rob Ryan) said that on the Dallas Cowboys’ roster, they have a couple receivers better than Calvin Johnson,” Carter said. “Now he should have took note from me what I said before the season that Calvin Johnson wasn’t in the top five.
“I didn’t say that he couldn’t play, though, he was right on the outside.
“But right now? Calvin Johnson? There’s a king in every crowd, and he’s the king of the National Football League right now as far as wide receivers.”

I remember watching Carter say that Johnson wasn’t Top 5, and I, like half of the free-thinking world, held up a hand and tried to count on my hand who is better than Johnson. It went, “Andre Johnson… maybe Larry Fitzgerald? Maybe Roddy White?” So yeah, I don’t remember who else Carter ranked ahead of Johnson and I don’t think anyone cares.
32) Green Bay Packers (4-0) – They’re still decent.
