Earlier on Monday TMZ reported that rapper Earl Hayes had murdered his wife, actress and TV star Stephanie Moseley, before turning the gun on himself in an apparent murder/suicide. TMZ has since updated that story saying boxer Floyd Mayweather was a witness to it all on FaceTime.
Sources told TMZ that Hayes called Floyd on FaceTime Monday morning in a rage over claims that his wife Stephanie Moseley, star of VH1’s Hit The Floor, had been unfaithful and that he was going to kill her. Mayweather pleaded with him to stop, but Hayes went through with it, then turned the gun on himself. Floyd acknowledges he was a witness and heard everything.
