Every once in a while we hear a tall tale of someone grabbing a quarter off the top of the backboard before throwing down a windmill 360. There’s never video evidence of it, just someone’s sister’s husband’s best friend who saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night.
Today, for the first time, one of those tall tales came to life. Top recruit D.J. Harvey of DeMatha Catholic High School in Washington D.C. jumped up so high he walloped his head on the backboard.

Here’s hoping Harvey was okay after a few Excedrin.
