That is Julio Franco moments before he became the oldest player in MLB history to hit a grand slam, almost 10 years ago at the age of 47. Franco stuck around MLB long enough to become the oldest non-pitcher to appear in a game and the oldest player to hit a home run, both at 48.

Franco has now joined the Japanese independent leagues, signing on to the Ishikawa Million Stars as a player-coach at 56 years old because he’s just the best.
