This 90-Foot Bat Flip Is The Greatest Baseball Walk-Off Celebration

On Sunday, the Houston vs. UL Lafayette NCAA Regionals Tournament game ended on the most glorious bat flip your eyes will ever behold.

Tyler Girouard approached the plate in the bottom of the ninth with game time at 1-1. He then drew a walk-off hit-by-pitch and promptly responded by flipping his bat to the moon. OK, it didn’t quite reach the moon, but the bat landed all the way by third base, and miraculously hit no one in the process.

UL-Lafayette should build a Tyler Girouard statue. That man is an American hero.
