Football is a game played by extraordinarily large human beings. But the biggest of them all doesn’t play in the NFL, or even in college; he resides at King High School in Riverside, California. John Krahn is a 7-foot, 440-pound defensive lineman. If that sounds incredibly terrifying, that’s because it is. MaxPreps recently published a feature on him including video footage of Krahn flinging opposing lineman like rag dolls.

Krahn’s size is obviously an enormous advantage, but if he wants to push his career to the next level, Krahn knows that he needs to improve his body:

“I have to lose weight, for our team,” he said.

“We had Division I coaches on site that said they’d consider offering him if he lost some weight,” USA Football’s Jimmy Thomas told MaxPreps. “They think he could be a force at a lighter weight.”

If he can stay at a healthy playing weight, Krahn could be one hell of a nose tackle. He causes offensive lineman to collapse like he’s a black hole. He should have a bright future in football. But if, for some reason, football doesn’t workout for Krahn, he’s indicated that he’d like to be a police officer, so criminals everywhere should hope this whole football things works out.
