Rodney Dangerfield’s Destructive ‘Caddyshack’ Yacht Can Now Be Yours

When Caddyshack was released in 1980, Al Czervik’s Striker yacht was probably the ultimate in open water adventure and entertainment. Today, though, Leonardo DiCaprio wouldn’t even consider hosting a sexy supermodel romp in the Mediterranean on such an aged clunker. However, if we’re talking about the exact same boat that Rodney Dangerfield’s character used to torment his buddy Judge Smails and destroy his beloved Flying Wasp, this might be a priceless collectible to any ‘80s comedy fan with a ton of cash to burn.

The name of Czervik’s boat in the film was Seafood, but its real name is Big Dog, and it is currently listed for sale on Yacht World and Denison Yacht Sales. Among the bells and whistles one can enjoy if he or she should purchase the Dog are “a master stateroom with Centerline Queen berth,” an “ensuite Master head with separate shower stall,” a salon with both a sofa and table, and a large flat screen TV built into the cabinets. And yes, I know what you’re thinking – there’s an ice maker, too. The cost? Only $129,000. Now let Big Dog’s owner seal the deal.

Here’s your chance to buy not only a great Sportfisherman and awesome Sea boat but a movie legend as well! Star of Caddy Shack, Big Dog was Rodney’s yacht in the movie and ran over everything in sight! “Move over Swanson, I’m driving!” (Check out the video link). Of course, being a Striker and built like a Tank, she can handle anything you throw at her! So if you are in the market for a fabulous rough water fishing boat with a bit of movie history thrown in, this is your boat! And at a great price as well! She needs some TLC but well worth the effort….

The only rule of ownership? Every time you start Big Dog up, you must shout, “Move over, Swanson, I’m driving!” As for the “video link,” well, there’s only one video that matters.
