Jay Feely Clowns Tim Tebow With ‘Worst Quarterback I Ever Saw’ Line

“He was the single worst quarterback I ever saw in my career in the NFL,” Jay Feely said of Tim Tebow.

Is that bad? That sounds bad.

Former Cardinals kicker Jay Feely didn’t hold back in his assessment of new Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow and his comeback to the NFL. In a sit-down with Jim Rome on Showtime, Feely also described a situation in which Tebow repeatedly missed simple passes in warm-ups.

“And routes on air, there’s no defensive backs, you know exactly what he’s going to run, there’s no pass rush. He had like 13 incompletions on routes – on air. Jim, you and I could go out and do routes on air and we would complete most of our passes.”

We’ve heard this kind of stuff about Tebow before, and the numbers certainly support Feely’s argument, but that’s just cold. You did Tebow dirty, Jay Feely.
