Southern Miss and Western Kentucky are facing off for the Conference USA championship, and with stakes that high you can bet the announcers will use the cliche “leave it all on the field” at least once during the game.
Still, I don’t think literally vomiting on the field is what they are referring too. Unfortunately for USM wideout Mike Thomas, that’s exactly what he did after he took a hit to the gut from Western Kentucky’s Wonderful Terry (A+ football name).
Thomas may have thrown up on the field, but he managed to shake it off and score a touchdown for his team just four plays later.
Guess he just had to get it out of his system.
