The Dallas Cowboys came into the the 2015 season with high expectations. A playoff berth was in their grasp and a Super Bowl appearance was certainly not out of the question. Then Dez Bryant went down with a broken foot, and Tony Romo followed not long after with a broken clavicle.

A once-promising season appeared headed for disaster. Close losses to the Falcons and Saints were followed with a blowout loss to the Patriots at home, 30-6. It was an ugly game in all aspects with the Cowboys looking over-matched on both sides of the ball.

But there’s still hope, at least if you believe Tony Romo. In the post-game handshake at midfield following said beating by the Patriots, Romo was overheard telling Tom Brady that he would see him in the Super Bowl. Specifically, “See you in February.”

Okey dokey, Tony Romo. The team is 2-3 and hasn’t looked particularly good in your absence, but sure, Cowboys to the Super Bowl, y’all. While we’re at, how about Joe Philbin for coach of the year? Matthew Stafford for MVP? Ndamukong Suh for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award?
