UFC 220: Full Results And The Best Highlights As Cormier Dominates And Miocic Makes Heavyweight History

UFC 220 has appeared out of the combat sports ether with little fanfare. Heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic has barely promoted his possible history-making fight with the stunningly powerful Francis Ngannou (Miocic will set the record for most heavyweight title defenses with a win), and the light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Volkan Oezdemir could be one of the weakest in the division’s history.

Still, it’s these cards, the ones that fly under the radar, that deliver. UFC 220 didn’t completely deliver, but Ngannou vs. Miocic was one of the more intense heavyweight fights in recent memory. And speaking of history, Miocic became the first heavyweight champ to defend his title three times in the UFC’s history. Surprising and impressive.
