Von Miller May Have Finally Outdone Himself With These Crazy Furry Pregame Cleats

Super Bowl MVP and all-around quarterback destroyer Von Miller has made a habit of two things this year: sacking quarterbacks and rocking the most extravagant pregame cleats in the entire NFL. Granted, because the NFL has dress code policies as strict as any job this side of the military, Von can’t possibly wear any of those cleats during an actual game. But he’s still having as much fun as he can.

But on this frigid Sunday in Denver, Von may have finally outdone himself by lacing up a custom pair of adidas cleats draped in brown and white fur … or “fur” so to not upset PETA. Von told NFL Network’s Jason Palmer pregame that the inside of the cleats are even lined with fur, and he’s going to need all the insulation he can get with the temperature during the game expected to be below freezing.

Von has donned plenty of vibrant cleats this year before his games, including a bright, white pair of Yeezy Boost 750 on opening night, a rooster inspired pair, a chrome pair, and more. This particular pair of furry cleats was apparently inspired by his “hat buddies” Conan O’Brien and Josh Norman from a sketch on Conan’s show back in February before the Super Bowl.
