Amy Schumer keeps a healthy sense of humor about herself, which drives her foes batty. When someone cracks the very joke their opponents are about to volley, a distinct lack of ammunition renders enemies powerless. Such is the case with Schumer’s recent trip to — I don’t know where — a drug store? Schumer trucked down an aisle and fell in love with a trophy that she knew was meant for her. A recent Emmy win just wasn’t enough for this princess.
Schumer grabbed the trophy and posed with feigned shock to receive such an honor. Her caption was simple but effective: “There are so many foods I want to thank.” What an immaculate delivery in response to such a ridiculous toy. Toy companies create the strangest things, but parents open their wallets in kind.
This highest of honors marks the end of Schumer’s endless summer, much of which has been documented on her Instagram page. Over the past few months, Schumer danced to the Backstreet Boys and formed a human bikini pyramid with Jennifer Lawrence after the two jokesters took off on a jet-ski.
