‘Better Call Saul’ season 2 won’t make you wait like some other cable dramas

While some of cable's best dramas will be having later-than-usual premieres in early 2016, “Better Call Saul” season 2 will be more or less on time.

AMC announced today that the “Breaking Bad' prequel will return on Monday, February 15, at 10 p.m. – exactly a year and a week after season 1 debuted.

“Jimmy McGill's journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season two of ‘Better Call Saul.”  He goes to places we'd never, ever expected.  As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he's pulled deeper into a world he was sure he”d left forever,” the show's co-creator Peter Gould said in a statement.  “We can't wait to share the next chapter of ‘Better Call Saul” with the fans who have embraced the show.”

Previously, FX has announced that “The Americans” (which usually premieres in late January or early February) won't be back until March, and while HBO hasn't announced an official “Game of Thrones” premiere date, its next Sunday lineup (“Vinyl,” “Girls,” and “Togetherness”) won't be debuting until mid-February, meaning the earliest “Thrones” could return would be in May.

At least you'll have Jimmy and Mike to keep you warm around when you expect them to.
