Well, the 2016 Democratic National Convention is in the books. If you missed out on any of the notable speeches, you can find many of them in the archive of our coverage here.
Speaking of the DNC, we sent a couple of staffers (writer Andrew Husband and producer Steve Vasquez) to Philadelphia to capture some of the action. One of the things we tasked them with was asking folks they met — a group that includes Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, along with Daily Show correspondents Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, and Hasan Minhaj — “What would you say to a Facebook friend who’s voting for Trump?” Some of the answers we received were quite funny, and who knows, maybe they can even help you with your own diplomatic efforts on Facebook.
