Miami’s Henry (Bill) Walker Throws Down Thunderous Slam Through Philly Defense In First NBA Game Since 2012

As a NBA obsessive, we were embarrassed over the weekend upon learning the Miami Heat called up former New York Knick Henry Walker. Just who was this mystery man that averaged 11.9 points per game for the ‘Bockers in 2010? We weren’t sure.

But Walker’s first game with the Heat and this thunderous slam made it obvious: He’d simply changed his name from ‘Bill’ since the last time he played in the league two years ago.  Yeah, we remember this guy:

Though the 27 year-old Walker supposedly isn’t the athlete he used to be following multiple knee surgeries, you can hardly tell here. And more importantly, he’s improved his shot enough for Miami to give him a lasting green light from deep. Walker’s play thus far has made it easy to see why – he has 11 points on three treys and this jam midway through the second quarter.

Welcome back, Henry (Bill)!
