Fallout 4 gives you a ton of options for upgrading your weapons, but in the interest of balance, there are still some limitations. You can’t just stick any old upgrade on any gun you want. Or can you?
The recently released “Any Mod Any Weapon” mod lets you mix and match any upgrade you want, even if it makes no damn sense at all. Want to create an electrified, triple-barreled minigun? A laser-firing Gatling gun? A giant magnum the size of a rifle? The world’s your oyster, my friend… your crazy, murderous oyster. You can check out YouTuber Tyrannicon creating and testing out some truly ludicrous weaponry at the top of this post.
Interestingly, this mod doesn’t just affect you. The game’s enemies will also be able to generate random wacky weapons. So watch out, you may be feeling pretty big with your new mashup weapon, but you may run across a random raider with a rocket-launching sniper rifle or a machine gun that shoots nukes. Thankfully, you can keep your crazy creations after you disable the mod if you want to have an advantage over the enemies.
