We make fun of “Minecraft” a bit on here, but that’s only because we love what Notch has created. He combined Legos and resource management. It’s like he found a way to turn crack and heroin into a drug you can take that lasts forever and has no side effects. And it’s so creative and friendly, even people who don’t understand video games at all find it impossible to hate.
Which really makes this video underneath the jump incredibly adorable. It turns out that it’s not just man-children looking to score nerd points that play Minecraft: there are a lot of grade-schoolers on servers too, and apparently they love it just as fervently. To the point where a kid talks trash on “Call of Duty”.
