Yes, Gucci Mane is locked up. Yes, he reportedly won’t get out until December 2016. But still, that hasn’t stopped The Oddfather’s gushing assembly line of product. On June 17th, via a statement, he updated fans by declaring that his 1017 empire would be “declaring war” with the stockpiled material, that has since included World War 3D, Trap House 4, The Oddfather, and Gucci Vs Guwop.
Now Guwop Coreleone continues his stronghold on the streets, this time with a new track that’ll surely get the people talking, titled “Sh*t Wouldn’t Happen.”
Exclusively premiering with REVOLT, Gucci’s new record features production by go-to beatmaker C4 (“Servin’,” “Gas and Mud”) and finds the self-professed Trap God name-checking his rival Jeezy (“If you ain’t sent them cowards to me, then that sh*t would not happen”), as well as referencing that infamous incident that left a woman thrown out of a moving car (“If you ain’t throw her out the truck, then why the f—k you plea guilty?”).
