Adam Sandler's new Netflix film “The Ridiculous Six,” a Western parody, premieres in December. A dozen Native American actors in the cast walked off the set to protest, as they put it, the movie's stereotyped and offensive representations of Apache culture. (One of the Apache characters is named “No Bra,” for example.) Sandler just claimed their offense is “a misunderstanding.” Though we haven't seen the movie, we have one reason to suspect Sandler's film is indeed offensive: We've seen other Sandler movies.
