Eddie Redmayne is dapperly dressed in first ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ image

The wizarding world of Harry Potter returns in 2016, sans boy wizard. It might seem counterintuitive to set a movie in the universe created by J.K. Rowling without Daniel Radcliffe, but from the looks of things Eddie Redmayne has things well in hand.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” follows the story of Newt Scamander (Redmayne), a famous magizoologist, as he sets out on an adventure in New York City during the Roaring Twenties. And now fans can get their first look at Scamander in the flesh.

Details like what the plot of the film actually is, since right now all we know is Scamander is standing inside the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA). To what ends, or what American wizards are like, is still shrouded in mystery.

What isn”t a mystery? The title card for the movie. Based on the font, there will be at least one dragon and something with many teeth in store for Scamander and his compatriots.
